after i upgrade to the 2.2 version i can't get in with my user and pass, i had the site closed before the upgrade, so all i get right now is nothing but the close is lcose please come back later. my site is http://www.nameless-anime.com.
is there anyway to reset the password?

Try navigating to you site by:

http://www.yoursite.com/recovery.php

And see if you can login to your site settings. Also make sure you have gzip disabled in preferences general settings.

How to open your site from phpMyAdmin

In phpMyAdmin open your XOOPS database and look for the table xoops_config. When you find it click on browse. Next look for entry #58 "closesite". You may have to go to the next page of the table data. This is the one you need to change. Click on the pencil icon on the left of the row, this allows you to edit the entry.

After the page has loaded, find the entry for config_value it should be "1" (site closed) change it to "0" (site open) without the quotes and save your changes. Your site should be open.
