first of this thing works great.
1. i dont know why but it says that the advertisement are showing but i haven't seen them where are they?why cant i see them?
2. all my pages come out fine but i cant get anything to come out on the main log in screen it allway goes to the contact me page but with no text even though when you you log in there is text there how do i fix it

Are you referring to banners?
Do you have banners enabled in General Preferences?
Are you using HTML code for your Banner codes?

Do you have the Contact page set as your start page? You can change this in General Preferences.

??? I don't quite follow what you're saying here. Are you saying that the blocks of text display when you're logged in, but not when you're logged out? If so, you need to set the group permissions so Anonymous visitors can see the blocks.

Which version of XOOPS are you using?
Which Theme are you using?

i have text on the contact page you just dont see it until you are log in also advertisements are enabled

i changed the contact to the photo gallery now i get this error at start up what do i do? Coppermine critical error:
The group table does not contain the Anonymous group !

i dont get any debugging info not really sure about the rest

once you login everything is fine but you cant get to the login because of this error
Coppermine critical error:

You should see three groups when you go to System Admin >> Groups:

Webmasters
Registered
Anonymous

You should be able to grant view permissions to anonymous users in the Anonymous group. Are you saying this group does not exist?

Also, I do not believe XOOPS 2.0.x is compatible with PHP 5.0.x, and I'm pretty sure the xcgallery module is not either. If I'm wrong, I hope someone will correct me.

ok dude i change the groups in the photo gallery and it worked and its fixed but im still having a problem with the advertisements not comming up can you help with that?

Until you answer my questions, no I cannot help because I don't understand "im still having a problem with the advertisements not comming up". What ads, where, how did you add them, do you have permissions set properly?

Also, a link to your site really helps when troubleshooting. It often makes up for miscommunication. After all, code is universal.
