Everyone has seen the typical 1 vote poll or even a multiple option poll, but all they really do is tell you who the majority favors.

It does little to deciminate who the majority thinks is 2nd or 3rd best..

I'm interested in a ranked poll.. where you might give the viewer the choice of "ranking" their options.

In otherwords.. What are your top 5 favorite shows..

You give them a list of all the possible options... and then using a pull down or button system or combo box, they select their #1 choice, #2 choice and so forth.

You give a value of 10 for the first choice, 8 for the 2nd, 6-3, 4-3, 2-4, 1-5. Then you accumulate the totals and the selections with the most points are first rated, and then so forth.

Does that make sense ?

Completely! Mithrandir has developed a survey module that might be a good choice for this.

Link: Survey

Hope this helps,

The survey module is not what I was looking for.

I'd love to talk to a developer sometime about this module, I think a lot of people would like it.
