Hi,

I would like to know if it's possible to have submenu below a menu option in the preferences/system menu.

For example :

Preferences/system/Authentication option/LDAP : with an attach form
Preferences/system/Authentication option/Active Directory : with another attach form
Preferences/system/Authentication option/NT Server : with another attach form

...

I want to separate different option to be more clear for users.

thanks for feedbacks.

Currently, the configuration categories do not support a parent-child relationship.

I agree that it would be more clear to the user in your case, but the way forward may be to create an authentication module with plugins (and module config categories) for the different authentication methods.

Do you mean a XOOPS module like PM or extended profiles ?
