Cloned Templates and Module Updates

There is something I'm not clear about. If I have cloned a template from the default, when I do a module update do I need to reimport all the html files for the updated module into the clone (and loose any modification I might have done)?

Only if the update template has changed. Many time a module is updated without template changes.
Urging XOOPS to be the Best It Can Be.
