A strange thing I noticed with every change I made to the content of XOOPS 2.2.2

After things are added, more and more, XOOPS seems to go into slowmotion. Now I first thought it was my provider, but then I noticed a line between the slowdown and content being added.

What happens is this, after content is being added, a lot of overhead seems to be produced into the database.
And this overhead seems to be the slowdown factor in my XOOPS 2.2.2 installation.

After I optimise things in PHPmySQL and all overhead is gone it works fine again. Meaning really speedy. ;)

Now I do not mind optimizing it every time, maybe even build it into an include file? But I wonder if there might be another solution.
