Today I upgraded from 2.0.10 up to 2.2 I did the patches one at a time until I reached 2.2.2 Right now my site is really screwed up. I did the upgrade as instructed (php debug on etc) and updated each module. I have even regenerated the templates in an effort to fix these problems.

The Forum is now not funtioning properly, users cannot post and I have lost my Active Topics blocks. Also the forum search is a little screwy. I can't get to newbb/admin/myblocksadmin.php all I get is a blank screen. I have also lost the ability to PM people. Also the System Module is showing as 2.11

I am wondering if there is a better way to perform the upgrade than how I did it. Should I download the full release and not upload the mainfile? Any advice would be very helpful.

My site has gone from being very stable and working flawlessly to being a mess.

thanks

OK, first off, the forum problems. CBB 2.2 is made for XOOPS 2.2. The database has changed with the upgrade and that is what is causing problems with the forum.

PM - is now a module. Install the Personal Messenger module.

Any other problems?

I uploaded CBB and now I can't update the module. When I try, I get a blank screen.

enable PHP debug in Preferences - General Settings and post the errors.

I seem to have the forum working again. The site is still a mess as a result of the upgrade. Getting the Personal Messaging to work and the Profiles is a pain in the ass.
