Hi!

I got a third party statistics module to collect data from my website visitors.

Wher do I have to implement the javascript code to collect data of all viewed pages - "theme.html"?

Or is it required to put the code in more files of xoops?

Thanks for help.

BTW: I cannot post to this forum when Norton Internet Security is active!

You have to place it in theme.html. That file is used for displaying all pages within xoops.

I cannot find a statistic module there - seems to be a directory or provider website

The problem with putting it in the theme.html is that if you change themes it gets to be a problem with upkeep.

Try placeing it in the footer in the preference section. It will be applied to all pages on all themes and can be easily changed.

Alternatively a custom HTML block with just the code to register the stats.

Of course, if the theme shows blocks regardless of visible content, it could look a little out of place...

If you choose the custom block use the regex expression in this thread to handle the display problems
