I am using a java based chat module that writes to a MySQL database.
As it is currently setup my users must register seperately for the chat and the main site.
What I would like to do is to SOMEHOW set things up so that when a user registers for them ain site that same registration is entered into the chatdb table. This way they do not have to go through the process twice.
It is not possible for me to get the chat applet to read the XOOPS db table since the chat server is shared between multiple sites.
Anyone have ANY ideas?
