Because when xoops.org was recently hacked, the intruders also damaged the docs site, the docs site is where a lot of the links in the XOOPS Faq resolve to, so until the docs site is totally rebuilt there will be some dead links in the Faq.

You are telling me that XOOPS doesn't not have a backup of all their stuffs?

You know, since these documents are the most important things about XOOPS, I think you need to get them up and running hurry. When people visiting the XOOPS site and found out the links are not working, that's very discourage. You can post something to let the people know why the links are not working, that would be helpful for the visitors.
