2.2 Lost Password Error

The Lost Password doesn't seem to work. When you fill in your email address to have a new password sent, the following happens:

The email with the link to confirm a new password is sent. When the link is clicked, you are sent to the site and the following error appears:

page display error: No Error Message Specified

The URL is:http://www.ultimate-sacrifice.com/error.php?c=1

Dispite this error, an email is sent with a new passord. The problem is, the new passord isn't changed in the user profile in the database.

Anyone else having this problem and fixed it?

Probably ver 2.2 isn't a good choice at the moment for a working site.
You should consider to use 2.0.13 that's more stable and bug free than 2.2.
Infact this site, that's the official Xoops'site, still use 2.0.13 and I think they'll continue to use this version for much time because 2.2 was a premature version born without necessary tests and without compatibility

So far, the this password issue is the only issue I'm having and I like the ability to use the multiple blocks. So, I'm going to need to fix this issue.

This one was fixed in XOOPS 2.2.3 RC, so try taking the lostpass.php from the upgrade package for XOOPS 2.2.2 to 2.2.3 RC

I had the same prob !
Fixed when lostpass.php updated.

I sugest to replace this LINE66 :

if (!$member_handler->insertUser($getuser[0])) {


By this new one :

if (!$member_handler->insertUser($getuser[0], true)) {


It works for me now!
Let us know if it's allrighit.
