I tried to use the Articles module lastnight but removed it temporarily until I can figure out how to change the background colour in the article.php part. I use a dark background and so the text is white. When I add the article, the background comes up white also. The only way anyone can view what the article says is if they highlight it.

I went into the templates and tried to change it there. But that didn't work. Is there someplace I can do that? And is it possible to make it the same as my current site's theme colour? example view of theme on site

I am new to XOOPS and I really enjoy using it too :)

Which articles module?
Doesn`t it change when you set it in the CSS file, in your theme?

Go to your Articles admin section and then customize your preferences.
There is something like Article background.

Thank you for responding

I finally figured it out. I was going to the right place (in templates) however I had to make the colour change before I added module in admin section. Now I have darkened the background. Thanks again for your assistance.

Take care
