Hi, i hope i'm in the right forum for that problem. I'm having an issue with the news module since the update from 2.0.13 - 2.2 RC. Now all the news poster names are shown as anonymous. If i look at the story table it shows the right uid but when i get to the news admin section there's no name shown in the poster cell.

Within a few days, we'll have XOOPS 2.2 RC2 out, where this problem will hopefully be fixed.

In XOOPS 2.2 RC we experimented with using the Real Name property of the user as the displayed name and the username used for login purposes only. We believe, we've found a better approach with XOOPS 2.2 RC2

Thanks for the answer. Yep it's fixed now that i've add something to the displayname of the poster account.
