Dear All

I have XOOPS 2.0.7.3 and wanted to upgrade to the latest version. I searched for the upgrade files and I saw that there are so many which are for upgrading from the last oldest to the latest. So is there a way to uupgrade from 2.0.7.3 to the latest version. Can someone give me a link if there is one.

The correct way is to do each upgrade in succession (one after the other). Sometimes the XOOPS team provides multiple version upgrades but not always.

Another, albeit riskier approach, is to build your own multiple version upgrade. To do that you download each version upgrade 2.0.7.3... etc.

Then merge files from oldest to newest. The combined file becomes your upgrade. SImply perform a regular upgrade from that point forward. A couple points of note, this approach requires accuracy in merging, requires using single version upgrades so that you don't loose files.

I've recently had to do a 2.0.7 upgrade... my only advise is to make sure you backup first - and if possible, in between each stage.
