Hi,

the XOOPS installation and modification system is quite nice. However, i have several questions about modifying things.

I want to edit the html that makes up the site banner up top. I installed the newbb module and I've looked through the templates, index.php, viewthread.php, header.php etc and I can't find code that injects the header html table into all pages. I would like to change the structure of that table to something simplier, and ultimately, have total control of the control over the content.

My questions are:

1. Where do i look to change the html of a section that's not in the templates?

2. Is the layout of a board controled only by php files, html templates and css files? If so, is there a way, from an html file, to figure out where that portion came from? I hate hunting and looking through files to figure it out. Perhaps I should put html comments or something.
