Hello,

Is it possible to publish the news on the frontpage? Or to place anything at all on the frontpage?

Hi,
You could do several thing, depending on what you want:

-In Admin->blocks you could select which block shuld be visible in front page.

-You could use spotlight function in News 1.3 or later. Or if you are using earlier version you could use Spotlight module.

-You could set the entire news module to be module for your start page in admin->preferences->General settings
