I have XOOPS running on a website of mine. I set it up a while ago (
TeamStevenson.com) and it works so well, I love xoops.
So, I downloaded another copy for a new website (
DolceVitaWine.com). I installed it and got this one error during instalation (I replaced sensitive information with "xxxxxx"):
Quote:
Saving configuration data..
File ../mainfile.php overwritten by ../mainfile.dist.php.
Constant XOOPS_ROOT_PATH written to /home/content/d/o/l/dolcevitawine/html.
Constant XOOPS_URL written to http://www.dolcevitawine.com.
Constant XOOPS_DB_TYPE written to mysql.
Constant XOOPS_DB_PREFIX written to xxxxxx.
Constant XOOPS_DB_HOST written to xxxxxx.
Constant XOOPS_DB_USER written to xxxxxx.
Constant XOOPS_DB_PASS written to xxxxxx.
Constant XOOPS_DB_NAME written to xxxxxx.
Failed writing constant 0.
Constant XOOPS_GROUP_ADMIN written to 1.
Constant XOOPS_GROUP_USERS written to 2.
Constant XOOPS_GROUP_ANONYMOUS written to 3.
Failed writing constant 1.
Configuration data has been saved successfully to mainfile.php.
Everything else installed fine with no other errors and everything seemed to be running well. However, after logging in under the admin username and password I created during instalation, I see that there are no modules available except "System". I have no blog, no news, no links, no downloads, etc. All the stuff that came with my previous instalation of XOOPS was not there. And if I logout and then try to register, I get an HTTP 404 error for the page register.php. I ftp'd into the site and register.php IS there. I have no clue what is going on or if this is because of the error above. ANY help with how to fix it would be GREATLY appreciated. And I could use a lot of hand-holding because I do not know PHP.
Thank you very much for your time,
J
