Hi,

Could you please let me know what are the Smarty templates variables for the news module ($news.title works but $news.hometext doesn't and that's the name of the field been used in the database).

1. Don't double-post. You'll only spread the replies and annoy people who find out that others have replied, after they have replied themselves.

2. Smarty variables are "assigned" to smarty - and sometimes only the most needed variables are assigned, which is why the title is there but not hometext.

So it depends on the page/block you are loading, which variables are available and how to add more.

Your best best is going through the module/news/template/*.html files to see what smarty $new variables are used by the news module.*/
