We have been looking at XOOPS and find the product very interesting. One of our operational frustrations that we are attempting to resolve is the tracking of meeting minutes, action items and action updates.
A dB structure of:
- Department - select department responcible for project
- Project - Field accepts overall project name
- Project Objective - Comments field
- Sub-Project - Relates to Project
- Sub-project objective - comments field
- Action Item - can be sub to a Project or Sub Project
- Assignee - Name of person or persons assigned to
- Action Update with autodate - Comments with date entered
- Status - percentage with auto date of entry
- Team - Select list of involved people
Assignees would be able to call up all opf there assignments and keep update comments on status
At any time a user could press a send update button that would email their latest update to the team members
Reports:
- By any of the above items
- Department
- Project
etc.
Reports would have to be printable and preferably exportable to word.
It would require user access levels to set each users capability to add, edit or change
We haven't seen anything out there like this and think it would be a very attractive feature.
