I got the download section module up and running and like every other module it seemed fine. Then after adding a download and trying the link I would get a page of bogus text. The file was on the computer locally which may have something to do with it. Why is it displaying bogus text instead of allowing the file to be downloaded? Tried adjusting feature (thought it was the anti leech thing at first) but to no avail. Been searching forums all over the place and can't find any answers...

Here is what happens when i click the download file.

I think that, that is a .RAR file and you need to save it to disk, aka download to desktop. Then open it with a Unzip Program like 7-Zip or Winzip.

accually no, lol i almost gave you a internal address. since the site is not ready i have no given it a address yet. alot of other XOOPS and portal sites have this issue, you go to download a file and it takes you to a webpage of bogus text...

its as if you opened the file in a text editor. thats the only way i can really explain it.
