Problem with Custom Avatars

Hi All,

Im new here, so go easy.

Just installed XOOPS 2.0.10 and have started setting up my forum etc..

The problem I am having is that users can upload custom avatars that are larger than the specified max size.

In the User Info Settings I have Avatars set to max height 80 pixels, max width 80 pixels.

Yet users are still able to upload custom avatars much larger than this.. eg 120x120 or even larger.

Why is this so? Is there something I have missed?

Did you try restricting the avatar file size also?


BTW, are you the same CLoSeR from Exetel?

Bassman,

The max filesize is still set to the default of 35000bytes..

Which is only 35K so im ok with that..

I currently have the max avatar size set to 80x80 pixels..

And YES i am the CLoSeR from Exetel Forums. :P

Well, welcome to the XOOPS forums :)

I'm not sure what the problem is there. Maybe one of the devs will have a look at it.... I haven't used avatars at any of the XOOPS sites I have done.
