I want to change the messages that say "you don't have permission / the right to access this area" to something more polite! but I cant find it, can anybody help? Please

You want to look in your language files.

/yourxoopsdirectory/language/english/global.php line 58

Thanks for the help, I was looking for a way from inside XOOPS it's self, but I don't think it can be done that way so I will stick with changing the file on the server as you suggest, thanks.
