This weekend there is the the Education Expo, held at:

Exhibition Centre, Rosehill Racecourse, Sydney, Australia
Sat 14 and Sun 15 May 2005, 10am - 4pm daily

Access is open to parents, students and teachers.

Would present a good oportunity to present XOOPS, though most likely too late for organisation. Just found out via the mailinglist of Community Code (for those aussies here on Newstart Allowance wanting to spend their time in a productive manner).

Wish I had know about that when I lost my job in 2003, I would've gone straight onto web development instead of getting another Sys eng role. Looks like a good expo to keep in mind next year

Community Code is just in development, and they are still looking for people to help. This weekend there will be an IRC meeting coming up...if you're interested
