Every theme I load, I get the same error when trying to utilize it:

Warning [Xoops]: Smarty error: unable to read template resource: "xoops2-thm_[whatever_theme]/theme.html" in file class/smarty/Smarty.class.php line 1042

Since it's always the exact same errors I suspect it's probably a simple fix (and fear the "duh" answer... )

Thanks!

See the Theme Deployment section of my tutorials. Your right it may be something simple, and these flash tutorials will guide you the right way.

Erg,

I went through your tutorials (thanks for making them...), but that didn't seem to lead to a solution.

I've checked to ensure that all the files for each theme are there (and I've loaded 11 of them just to ensure that it's not some theme-specific fluke).

The complete list of errors I get is:

Notice [PHP]: Undefined index: content in file modules/language/blocks/language_blocks.php line 47

Notice [PHP]: Undefined variable: microlinks in file modules/wordbook/index.php line 259

Warning [Xoops]: Smarty error: unable to read template resource: "[whatever_theme_I'm_trying]/theme.html" in file class/smarty/Smarty.class.php line 1042

The same for every theme - except, of course the pre-loaded three: default, phpkaox, & x2t.

Any additional insight?

Thanks
