Hello every one...

Ok I have a odd problem, my site seems to be working just fine, when a user is in the forums, they can post a reply or new topic ok, but the redirect isn't working.

For example, after they click on Submit, they just get a blank page, no errors or anything. The post seems ok, but they are left with a blank page.

Ideas anyone?

Server is running Linux/Apache/MySQL

PHP4

Thanks in advance.
Sab

I turned off the newbb forum and downloaded the newbbex version and it works fine.

I have the same problem.

Changing the module isn't the solution to the problem.
Does the XOOPS Team know of this issue?
Is it something that can be fixed by editing the post.php?
Is it something that is fixed in the 2.0.10 Final release.
If not, then this will be a continuing problem.
Am I wrong?
Does anyone have the answer to this issue?

My version of XOOPS is 2.0.10 RC (not Final release).

Thanks in advance.

I have corrected the issue with the post problem in the newbb forums on my own website (Xoops Ver. - 2.0.10RC2).

All I did to fix the post problem was:

- replaced the old (Xoops Ver. - 2.0.10RC2) post.php file under the html/modules/newbb directory, with the latest post.php from the XOOPS Ver. - 2.0.10 Final html/module/newbb directory.

Apparently the post problem was addressed in the latest release of XOOPS.

The only problem is if you upgrade to the Latest XOOPS from the Release Candidate, it will not fix the problem, because you are not supposed to replace the newbb directory during the upgrade (as stated in Warpigs upgrade tutorial - here - https://xoops.org/modules/news/article.php?storyid=2216).

So to fix this problem you must manually replace this file.

I hope someone else finds this helpful.
