Editing the user Profile

Hi ALL

As a registered user you get a "Profile" and with in this you have a number of fields, like-AIM & YIM

Q: how can I edit them or add new fileds of information that I want to capture in the database?.

Q: how do I add the fields to the search to allow me, (the administrator) and other regitered users to surach on them?.

If anyone can give me ANY advise on this it would be most welcombe.

Some serious hacking would be required in the XOOPS 2.0.x branch. However user definable fields for the user profile are to be included as a part of XOOPS 2.2, but it is still 6 months or more away from being released.

Hi Thank you, for the reply.

However 6 months is to long away, is there any other way I can add or remove some fields lik "AIM" that I would never use?
