Hello,
I want have the NEWS in my Home page in XOOPS 2.
in some sites, I saw they redirect to /modules/news
when I choose the Home. how can I do it ?
(for home page in Blocks preferences I just can insert Recent News that just show News Title. I want have them with their Topic picture and ...)

You can do it 2 ways.

You can go to Admin - Preferences - General Settings, 5th line down "Module for your start page" select News from the dropdown list.

Or you can us a Spotlite Module. The module for this can be found in the Module Repository, or most of the current news modules have a Spotlite built in. Let me know which way you want to go and I will get the links.

Excuse me if I'm a beginner in this way. What is Spotlite ?
The first way worked ;) But I like to know about Spotlite, too.

A spotlite is like the news block on XOOPS front page above the forums. (Not exactly like that but close.)
