Resize Logo from 150 x 80?

I've been working on this for many hours now, read so much without success. I've got a headerlogo 150x80 on the top left that I would like to expand the entire top, 900x150 something like that. I figured it would be as easy as editing a text file, just changing 150 to 900 and 80 to 150. But I can't find the 150x80 in any text file?

It's in the theme.html of your theme.

Thanks for your help, this is frustrating and I really do need this support now-

Is that "themes.html" file be in my "themes/default folder"? I have edited it many times and tried various settings, to no effect.

On a side note, I cloned my template recently and began using it instead of the default, if that means anything.

You should edit the 'theme.html' file of the theme you are using.

2nd Q: nope, this has got nothing to do with the cloning. Just change your 'theme.html' of your theme.

Thanks again, I've provided details and support is appreciated!

I assume that themes/default/theme.html is the right file to be editing...In my themes/default folder, the other files are .wysywigPro, hbar.gif, logo.gif, poweredby.gif, style.css, styleMAC.css, styleNN.css, theme_blockcenter_c.html, theme_blockcenter_l.html, theme_blockcenter_r.html, theme_blockleft.html and theme_blockright.html...so if there is another theme.html file to edit, it must be in another folder? Is there another theme.html file? Where is it?

Assuming I'm editing the correct file, the edits are not taking effect...I have tried several settings changes and none work. Maybe it's the code itself so here's what I guess is the relevant part of my theme.html file.

I'm *trying* to get a 764X68 image on top in the headerlogo section (like a banner, I just couldn't get the headerbanner up there so I'm trying the headerlogo). But logo.gif seems fixed at 150 X 80. I'm able to change the logo.gif and see that effect take place. But I can't adjust the height or width...

<body>
<table width="0" height="0" cellspacing="0"><tbody><tr><td valign="top" colspan="1">
<div>&nbsp;
<img width="40" height="40" src="/images/hd2.gif" alt="" title=""></div></td></tr><tr><td valign="top" colspan="1">
<div>&nbsp;</div></td></tr><tr id="header"><td id="headerbanner">
<http:></http:>
<img width="764" height="68" src="/images/logo.gif" alt="" title="">
<br></td></tr></tbody></table>

Did you clear the 'templates_c' folder after you've uploaded the 'theme.html'?

This will make this CMS reload the page and not using the stored template.

OK, first of all, just confirm it's the default (ie blue & white-ish) theme you're editing.
If so, have you uploaded the image you want to use, and named it logo.gif?
If so, have you selected "yes" in "Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?" In system admin>Preferences>general settings?

If so, try clearing your browser cache.

Can you post a link to your site. Then we will be able to show you how to fix it...

Excellent! Script-Fu, I'll send the link to the site in a sec. But I want to try Showcase17's advice first and delete the templates_c folder. Bassman, I've tried those four.

Y'all I'm afraid to delete my templates_c folder! I tried this about six hours ago, then my website was not visible in Firefox or IE, and I had to restore the templates_c files from backup. Any advice on how to do it or should I just try it again?

I'll send the link if that doesn't work. Again, thanks for the help, I'm appreciated it-

I clear the templates_c folder files, refresh the page in Firefox, and my homepage goes blank. I restore the templates_c folder files, refresh the page in Firefox, it returns displayed normal.

What I'm reading about templates_c folder files makes it sound like deleting harmless temp files, but in my case, bah, I'm confused.

I'd rather not post my site here, it's being built it's embarrassing I don't know, maybe I could PM somebody. Or just get the template_c folder files removed the right way which very well may fix it? Again thanks for the support! It's great help
