Error Sending Mail to Users

Just can't stay away

I'm trying to send a message to Registered Users and it goes through for some and errors for others. The error displayed is:
"Could not instantiate mail()"

I've looked at the members that are having this error and their id's look ok. They are goinging on and browsing the site.

Any ideas?

perhaps I am not the right person to answer as I only know some basic stuff.

Look under,

Systemadmin > preferences > Mail Setup

Make sure all the settings are ok in there. I use PHPmail and never had a problem.
