How to install a single copy for multiple websites on a single sever

Hi All

I have a virtual web server which sub let.

I would like to install XOOPS in one location on the server (I need to save the web space) and use the Apache directive alias to install it into my clients sites.

Can I do this ?

Are there Instructions Etc.?
