Dear All,
I need help in order to resolve the following error:

Parse error: parse error in D:\Inetpub\webs\ge-amit\public\html\include\common.php on line 267

Ever though the inslallation process was successful completed, when I try to connect my site (www.ge-am.it), it doesn't work.

I provide you some details on my hosting service:
* MySQL 4.0.23-standard
* hosting Windows

Thanks in advance.

I'm getting a connection refused.

You may need to enable read permissions for the root dir. If that's not it, it's another permissions related issue.

appears your DNS records are ok, but I get conn. refused using www.ge-am.it, ge-am.it, and 62.149.128.72.

BTW you know that this nothing to do with xoops...

Have you experienced conn. refused using the following link?

http://www.ge-am.it/public/html/

Following the link I experience the parse error above mentioned.

Anyway I checked the permissions of the Public directory and it's read/write, unfortunately I cannot check and change the root directory permissions due to provider/tech constraints (windows hosting).

Moreover, I asked to my hosting provider to help me with parse error. They answered that some XOOPS (included commmon.php) files are truncated and they recommend to try a new site upload. Do you thinks it's a possible solution?

At the moment I'm very confused, I don't how to put in production my Xooops site. Could you help me?

Thanks,
Andrea
