hi i would like the user to be able to pick themself their group between selected groups (no webmaster or admin ).
Is there a way to do this nicely, instead of hacking the registration form to update the xoops_group_link table ?

also if i wanted to display a specific message if its the first time a user loged himself how can i do this ?

I also am interested by this feature does some1 have an idea? Some hacks already let people choose their group at registration or let them change group after having paid something.
E.g Registration key hack or donation module
So I guess it shoudln't be so hard to make. The only poblem is I really don't see how this could be done. I'll look into the donation script code maybe but I don't think I will make anything work with my curent php level :P
