In forum index, i can see
*categorie1
--forum1
--forum2
*categorie2
--forum1
--forum2

When i clic on a category, i see
*categorie1
--forum1
--forum2

and when i clic on a forum, i see a tree with
=Index
--forum
----question

So, for a complete tree, i think it is necesary include the category, because i don´t see it in the tree. That:
=Index
*category
--forum
----question

I wondered about that myself. It isn't a big deal but it can be stranger looking if you have forums with the same names under different categories. Easy enough to pop back to the index but it might be nice to stay in the category when you want to move back up.
