I am having some trouble creating a (first) edito.
When i create one and select it from my menu it shows a blank page?

The previous version 2.2 did work.
I also tried to upgrade but that doesn't work either.
Same error, blank page.

Perhaps i am forgetting something or i have to do some chmods?

What does the debugger give for error messages?

I too had problems until I got the latest version. Make sure that you upload all files. If I were you I would uninstall the module, get the latest version and reinstall. The module will work without any permission setting.
