Remove the annoying words in Xoops?

Words like these are always shown during logging, submitting information, saving changes, etc. I think showing these words is time-consuming and plays no functions if everything is successful. You can auto direct to the next page with zero second. Could you show a sentence on the top of the next page instead for the success? Or could you allow the web master when to show, how long to show, what to show, and any other parameters?

Alternatives exist like changing the redirect_header() function in include/functions.php to not meta-redirect, but just do a header('location:') and add the message to the url as a GET parameter.
Then the theme can be changed to pick up this message - if set - and place it in between <div class="resultMsg"> </div> tags.
