System module gone in control panel

My system module button is gone in my control panel I haven't a clue about how to get it back. It's like I set a a permission to not let the admin use the system preference or something. Can anyone tell me how to get it back?

I can't do anything but add links and news and such. HELP!!!

oh man, thank you SOOOO much. I couldn't find anything about this and I guess I missed it in the FAQ's. Again, you rock. I was starting to panic. Bless you.
