Hi,

I encounter a fatal error when install XOOPS.
Here is error msg for your ref:
"Fatal error: getdatabaseconnection(): Failed opening required '/home/vietkhac/public_html/xoops/class/database/Arraydatabase.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/vietkhac/public_html/xoops/class/database/databasefactory.php on line 24
Warning [PHP]: getdatabaseconnection(/home/vietkhac/public_html/xoops/class/database/Arraydatabase.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in file class/database/databasefactory.php line 24"

So please urgently help me in the case.

At what point of the install do you get this error? Are all chmod settings correct? and double check the database connection information in mainfile.php.

Hi

I just had the same error.

Checking the "automatic" install procedures, the error seems to be born on the very first install pages:

(1) Drop down: "LANGUAGE" the only option given is "ARRAY" while it should be something like "english" or "spanish" etc. ...

(2) Drop-down: "database" the only option given is "ARRAY" again, while it should be something like "MYSQL".

My guess: Install does not work, if You are behind a firewall and with security measures turned on (No cookies, etc.).

What else could be the cause ? May be some xoops-guru around can gice some light ...

Do you have checked or these files actually exist? Also check or your ftp clients hasn't made all files lowercase.

So first thing, re-upload everything.

A shot in the dark - but check if your host has updated Zend Optimizer if they have recently updated to PHP Version 4.3.10
