I would like the index page for my site to point to ...modules/newbb/index.php. If I keep my apache http root directory set at default (/srv/www/htdocs) and type the full path to the newbb directory (http://mysite.com/xoops/modules/newbb/) the forum page will load. But if I set the apache root directory to /srv/www/htdocs/xoops/modules/newbb/ all I get is a blank page when I go to the address http://mysite.com. Is there something with file and directory permissions that I'm missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the XOOPS forums.

I donĀ“t know if the is the answer you are waiting for:

1. Go to system - admin
2. Go to Site Preferences
3. Go to general settings
4. Look for the part "Module for your start page"

have fun with XOOPS
