I just installed XOOPS on a site 3 days ago and now I can't login as the admin. I type my username and pw and it takes me to the splash screen stating i logged in correctly. But then when it takes me to the main page, it's like I never logged in. I have no idea how to fix and hope I don't have to re-install as this site gets 40k unique visitors daily. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Once your back on the mainpage is the logon block still there or the user menu?

Do you have a firewall enabled on your client computer?

I just figured it out. I was looking at the tables in phpmyadmin so i could back everything up and noticed the xoops_sessions table was broke. I tried to backup and got the MySQL error 1016 145 so I ssh'd in and ran 'perror 145' and it stated I had a bad table that crashed. Since it was just the xoops_sessions table, I just reinstalled that table and all works now. Does XOOPS have a limit as to how many people can be online? I assume sessions are just limited by MySQL though and I don't think 600 people would kill it.

I would have to doubt that 600 would kill it.
