Hi,
I was wondering if XOOPS is compatibale with MySQL 4.1.x? I noticed in the docs that it mentions 3.2. I have 4.1 installed and am having problems setting up XOOPS. Specifically, when I hit 'Next' on the "Confirm DB Settings" page I get a blank page. My DB seems to running normally

I've seen issues reported with MySQL 4.1.

Do you get any error messages if you turn on PHP Debug or MySQL Debug?

It could be an incompatibility with the PHP version, and this might be relevant: Client does not support authentication protocol
