First of all, I want to thank to all people who developed newbb - they did a wonderful work.

Yesterday I've upgraded from newbb1 to newbb2 on DuneMUD. The upgrade went smoothly, except the templates that I used in newbb1 which didn't work in newbb2, but that was expected.

personally i prefer to change style instead of change templates every where possible. but maybe you can use a diff program and find your changes in newbb 1 templates then use that changes in newbb 2 templates. just a thought

I wonder if there are more button sets for newbb2.

I've noticed yesterday that while the public forums were upgraded without losing any information, the private forums seems to lose all their posts.

I can see the number of posts in all the private forums, who posted last, etc, but when I enter the forum, it is empty.

I tried to sync the forums, but it didn't work.

I thought that maybe I just can't see the forums, but I am the webadmin, so I should see them all.

Bumping this up a bit, a lot of messages gone or hiding somewhere, and I wonder if someone can help...

Well, atleast I know the messages aren't gone, they just hide somewhere. I've seen them in MySQL database, although there is no poster field - it is empty. Hmm...
