I'm using the EDITO module on my site and would like to embed the Google affiliate Javascript code into the editos created, but the code doesn't work.

Any ideas why? I've tried replacing the double quotes with single quotes.

Also, any way to suppress listing all the individual articles on the menu block, i.e. expanded listing.

Thanks
Steve

Re: EDITO: Embedding Javascript

In my Edito I use java script for site feed from another site.
Here is the code snippet I use, maybe it will help you:

<script language="javascript" src="http://www.securitydocs.com/exporter.php?number[1]=20&field[1]=rating&ascdesc[1]=descending&type[1]=links&thecondition[1]=type='regular' and votes > 5"></script>

Not sure what double quotes you made single, but notice the quotes in my code.

This is the code generated by Google that I'm trying to use - and it doesn't work (your code works fine - just tried it):

-----------------
<script type="text/javascript"><!--
google_ad_client = "pub-0651760906053123";
google_ad_width = 468;
google_ad_height = 60;
google_ad_format = "468x60_as";
google_ad_channel ="9620564558";
google_ad_type = "text";
google_color_border = "003366";
google_color_bg = "000000";
google_color_link = "FFFFFF";
google_color_url = "FF6600";
google_color_text = "FF6600";
//--></script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script>
-----------------

The double quotes I was referring to were the ones in the code above.

Thanks
Steve

Re: EDITO: Embedding Javascript

Just tried my adsense script in edito, did not work either.

I use a custom html block for my ads, any reason you need to use edito for it?

Yes. I want to embed the text ads in the articles themselves, so they are relevant to the content being read. Otherwise, the banner ad I'm using at the bottom of the page just shows mostly "Public Service" ads. But, not only that I really do want the text ads showing in the articles being read.
