Hi, I am a beginner with XOOPS but not with content managment systems so I still have legacy ideas that I am trying to get rid of, but I have got my head round a lot of the system and downloaded and installed [xoops-2.0.9-beta.zip], and got it to work to the point where I have the administration system working.

But I cannot find any modules to install, I have re downloded [xoops-2.0.9-beta.zip] and re installed, but the are no module files in the folder modules.

Before I submitted this message I have worked my way around the forums to see if there were any hints or similar I I have not found them so sorry to ask, it must be blindly obvious but what have I missed out in the install.

Xoops 2.0.9 beta is shipped without modules as it is a release meant for testing of among other things PHP 5 compatibility.

Stock modules are included in the 2.0.7.3 package and others are available in the Module Repository as well as on http://dev.xoops.org (note that dev.xoops.org holds mainly development releases of modules)
