RSS Read (Headlines) Problem

I never been able to make my headlines module (freecontent, digest, xhld) works in my test machine (a windows based system).

i got the following error:
Warning [PHP]: fopen(http://rss.groups.yahoo.com/group/tjersil/rss): failed to open stream: Bad file descriptor in file c:\inetpub\wwwroot\xoops\html\modules\xoopsheadline\class\headlinerenderer.php line 62

can anyone help? thanks in advance!
