I'm just getting started with XOOPS and have a basic question...

Is there an equivalent to PostNuke's Admin Messages in Xoops? I am looking for the simplest way to add data to the front page of the site... Just basic HTML/Text with news and updates... I dont want to use the News module as I dont want comments, and dont need all the bloat for simple static HTML display...

I checked out TinyContent, but it doesnt seem to let me post several entries on the front page...

Any thoughts?
