Hey,

I know there are plenty of these posts, but I'm looking specificially for a decent deal for a higher bandwidth site. We have around 300-400 members (growing daily) on our current message board.

I've been using DreamHost to host my XOOPS site, and the MySQL database servers are always lagging the site (2-8 seconds to load each page w/ 20-40 queries).

I'm looking for a new host. I run a high user site (60-100 gig transfer/month), and would sacrifice disk space for bandwidth.

I'm looking for a host that has:
- PHP/MySql support obviously for xoops
- 100 gigs of transfer
- $25/mo or less
- Faster than my current provider.

Disk space is probably around 2-300megs, but would take whatever we could get.

This is only going from a bystanders view, but overall people seem to be pretty happy with surpass hosting, and for what you're after ther $15 pro plan seems well suited.

Would 100GB mo. Transfer w/ rollover bandwidth and 3000MB storage due @ $11.95/mo.

As brash says, surpasshosting offers cheap webhosting, worth your money... I have been with surpasshosting for over 6 month, and I'm very happy with their performance. Check this :

Or perhaps you could sign of OC plan and get larger space and bandwith with lower cost.

I've had great luck at Hurricane Electrichttp://www.he.net . Nothing fancy, no Cpanel, no Fantastico just great performance and excellent customer service. They always answer the phone quickly and respond to e-mail right away. Also found the shell account to be very useful and lacking in many other providers packages. While it's not essential to running XOOPS it sure is nice to have.

I've got the space and the bandwidth available.

My company sells what we call "Benefits Based Webhosting." Normally, we sell packages based on disk space and bandwidth utilized, but we are not averse to custom configurations. Our goal is to satisfy customer needs.

Based on your requirements of bandwidth over disk space, I think we can come up with something.

We offer a reseller package with 100 gig transfer rate per month and 10 gigs of disk space at $58.99 Canadian dollars. I can be persuaded to create a special end-user package for you with the 100 gig transfer and disk space less than one gig for $34.99 Canadian dollars.
