I am using XOOPS 2.0.7 and mySQL version 4.3 with these packages - newbb, system, myReview and the regular ones.

I just had a simple question - is there a way to limit visibility of Blocks to certain pages only unlike for a whole module?

For example, on my site I have a block "categories" which I have enabled for module "myReviews" - is there a way I can enable block for only one file within myReviews folder?

Would this involve some more programming? Has anyone done this before? Can someone post an example how it could be done?!

Thanks a lot guys for all the help in advance!

I am trying to do this also, but with the forum module. I want to have my smilies appear in a block on the left when the person is typing in a reply but otherwise not be visible. I created a custom php block and right now the smilies appear on the left for every screen in the forum module.

Does anyone know how to do this?

If I am understanding correctly, what you want to do is go to the block list, to the far right click on edit, now there is a list of your pages. Just hold the Ctrl key and select away.

If that's not what you are asking, sorry.

Hi jdseymour,

Thanks for the quick response! Makes me feel like it is an interesting question. (g)

But I believe you are writing about the blocks/edit/"visible in", then what appears in the drop down list is a list of modules, not individual pages. The forum module has about 4 different pages inside it, and I want my newly modified Smilies block to only appear when a person is replying to a post.

Any other ideas?
