When i go to delete a post, it says:
Are you sure you want to delete this post and all its child posts?

It will only let me delete all of them under the one i'm trying to delete. How can I only delete that certain post? This is probably a noob question lol, but I really don't know. =/

No, you aren't missing anything. In NewBB 1, you cannot delete a post without deleting all the child posts. You can delete individual posts with NewBB 2.

Is NewBB complete? and can I upgrade to it without messing my site up? =)

The final version of NewBB 2 has just entered it's preview stage, so a general public release should not be too far off. And yes, there will be upgrade scripts so that you can migrate all your NewBB 1 data across .
