Is it possible to build a new XOOPS site and incorporate an existing wordpress blog into it?

I want to keep the wordpress blog at its current domain and build a XOOPS site around it.

Sorry, this would not be possible. XOOPS is not intended for wrapping round existing websites.

The only way possible (though not a good way) is to make a custom block amd put an iframe in it calling your wordpress website. It would look pretty awful becxause of the scrollbars etc. Also no connectivity with your XOOPS site.

BTW wordpress has been ported to xoops, so it may be an option for you to install the ported version in your XOOPS website, then import all database data.

Depends how confident you are with mysql?
