i think using language for themes and images directories is very usefull espacially for multilanguage sites.
every theme have logo and buttons that change with language.
also text links that hardcoded in themes and so on.
for images directory have the same problems.
i dont know how it can be but think something like this:
themes/english/theme1

erhm.. what do you need in the core?
You are free to use the language in your theme as you see fit.

<{$xoops_langcode}> is available to you.

i take a look at this and i can change logo now
but how can i change the hard coded link "name" with this?
i think must define in lang file and then use at theme do i?
by the way how can i change images in /images directory by change lang?

I still don't understand your problems - have a folder for english and one for persian images and in the theme.html get the image with the path including the lang-code for selecting the folder. Problem solved.

Example:

theme.html
<img src="<{$xoops_imageurl}><{$xoops_langcode}>/logo.gif}>" />

and then have a logo.gif in a themes/yourtheme/en/ folder as well as one in themes/yourtheme/pe/ (replace with persian langcode)
